In his work Tomer Sapir explores the link between nature and the man-made, the biological and the synthetic and looks for chemical formulas to combine them. In 'Research for a full crypto-taxidermical index' (2010) he creates hybrid pieces while investigating on the relationship between science, pseudo-science and art.
Through sculpture, installation, drawing and collage he creates a world that exists between fiction and reality, joke and catastrophe.
