“To Host Life” is a double-meaning expression. On the one hand, it denotes a tangible action: hosting people, opening the door, allowing others to enter one’s private space. On the other hand, it suggests a stance: hosting life itself, letting them enter.
The exhibition moves within the space between hosting people and hosting reality, articulated through Yudkovik’s distinctive sculptural language, composed of treated objects, seemingly inanimate, that invite dialogue with the viewer and seek to free themselves from the contexts that have adhered to them.
