Shai Yehezkelli (born 1979, Israel), holds an MFA from the Bezalel Academy, Tel Aviv (2010), and a BFA with Highest Honor (”Summa Cum Laude”) from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2006).
His solo exhibitions include: “The Great Siesta” (2019, Chelouche Gallery TLV), “Maarava” (2019, Mindy Solomon Gallery, Miami), “Nothing Went Wrong to Write Home About” (2018, 2025 eV, Hamburg), ‘In Praise of Avalanche’, (2016, Tel Aviv Museum of Art), “Space C” (2012, Haifa museum of Art), and he is part of The Jewish Museum of Switzerland in Basel Permanent collection.
Yehezkelli was awarded The Rappaport Prize for young Israeli artist (2015), the Bank Leumi Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievements (2006) and the Arieli History & Theory Department Prize for excellent achievements, Bezalel academy (2006). He also received a grant from The Israeli Lottery Culture-Council in 2014.
