Tal Shoshan (born 1969) is a multidisciplinary artist who creates video works, sculptures, installation and performance. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including ShadeDays, Chelouche Gallery (Tel Aviv, 2018); Mud Covered Eyes, Chelouche Gallery (Tel Aviv, 2015); Hair Knots, Lohamei HaGeta’ot Gallery (Israel, 2014); Dreaming of Journeys, Chelouche Gallery (Tel Aviv , 2010) and ART EXPO; Phnom Penh the city of Penh, Cinematheque Tel Aviv, Cinematheque Haifa and Cinematheque Rosh Pinna, the Panorama of Independent Film & Video Makers, Greece (2007); Empty Spaces, Herzliya Museum (Israel, 2005); Public Space, Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art (Tel Aviv, 2003); and Mother Tongue, Ein Harod Museum (Israel, 2002). She is an M.A. graduate of Wimbledon School of Art, London (1997), and a B.A. graduate of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Department of Jewelry & Fashion (1994). Between the years 2007-2015 she was head of Fashion and Accessories – Design department at the Kibbutzim College of Education. Shoshan is the recipient of the Lottery Council grant for an artist book (2017) and the Oscar Handler prize (2014).

Chelouche Gallery is one of the most prominent and leading galleries in Israel. Located in Tel Aviv, Chelouche Gallery maintains its primacy by presenting a large variety of works, ranging from video art to sculpture, painting, installation and photography. Since its inception, the gallery has been promoting an international and local exhibition program, in collaboration with curators and artists from Israel and around the world, placing itself one step ahead in the Israeli contemporary art scene.
