Tom Pnini (born 1981), is one of the most innovative and promising artists of his generation. Born in Israel he currently lives and works in New York. He works mainly with Video.
Pnini holds a B.E.D for Art and Art teaching from Hamidrasha of Art Beit Berl College and a M.F.A in Fine Art from Parsons school of design, the new school, New York.
Pnini received the Outstanding Artistic Excellence Award from Beit Berl College in 2008, and has participated in numerous exhibitions in Israel, New York, Milan, and Toronto.
Pnini creates multi-dimensional experiences, time based work and large scale installations. Key to his work is the fabrication of dualities in which the awareness of the illusion is just as strong as the illusion itself.
