Gideon Gechtman | Butterflies & Pyramids
Curator: Nira Itzhaki
In the exhibition Butterflies & Pyramids, on the gallery’s first floor, early works by Gechtman are displayed for the first time since his demise (2008). These works portray the core of Gechtman’s interests throughout his artistic career: transience as opposed to immortality, authenticity versus artificial, questions of origin and imitation.

CITYISM
Curators: Adi Artsi, Shani Werner
Artists: Nir Adoni, Nivi Alroy, Tom Pnini, Assaf Shaham, Team Etc., Irit Tamari
Displayed on the gallery’s second floor is CITYISM, a group exhibition of young Israeli artists. All of them use the city’s traits and features as raw material from which the work originates.
Dreams of far away places, challenging the boundaries of given spaces, dismantling and rebuilding city components, attempts of re-bringing nature into the city, all define the works in the exhibition.

Asaf Gottesman | “I want, I want, I want”
On the gallery’s roof floor Arch. Assaf Gottesman presents his project “I want, I want, I want”. The architect’s point of view reveals a critical understanding of public spaces. The photographs in the project raise questions regarding the way in which the city never ceases to be alternated, this time not by architects, but by the citizens, motivated by their individual momentary needs.
