Moti, how was the stabbing?

In this exhibition, Goren presents several significant bodies of work simultaneously and, as in her previous exhibitions, is populated by humorous and grotesque figures engaged in something scandalous. Goren’s loyal companions-wild boys and girls, strange creatures, and marginal characters- refuse to conform to norms of “proper” behavior.
Her figures do not learn a lesson, as is customary in folk tales and children’s stories. On the contrary, they remain wild, sexual, violent, and unruly, and as such continue to disrupt social conventions and challenge the artistic canon.
