The series “Displaced” was taken in August 2010 at the Bedouin villages Wadi El-Na’am, El-Arakib and Tuawil in the south of Israel.
During one month, photographer Miki Kratsman has lived in the Negev, documenting the Bedouins’ lives, their evacuation from their houses and the demolition of the village of El-Arakib by Israeli government.
The project will be exhibited at Miki Kratsman’s solo exhibition “All About Us” at the Ursula Blickle Foundation in Germany. Curator: Nicolaus Schafhausen
(March-April 2011).
