The Visit

2009
The Visit is a site specific installation created for “Industry” (old railway station in Menashiya, Tel Aviv), M.F.A graduate show, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Curator: Sarit Shapira From the curator’s text: When Tomer Sapir simulates the figure of a Cryptid – possibly a body cast up on the shores of Long Island, possibly something conjured up on internet sites, he maps the compound of its existance as an event taking place in identified and specific time and place, but at the same time hypothetical, existing, perhaps, only in the realm where attraction and paranoia copulate.
