In collaboration with Hillel Kogan and Andrea Costanzo Martini.
“Take everything you have. Put it in Piles. Now, look at it. Does it spark joy for you? keep it. If not, be willing to let it go” (M. Kondo).
Everything Must Go is a homage to letting go – to empty hands longing to be filled, burdened arms longing for the weight to be lifted, and vice versa. Like in a garage sale, the indoors (the heart) are poured out, and there objects and memories, treasures and junk, lay await for the visitors. The music that played during that first kiss, that last breath. We celebrate this mourning, and latch on to what, alas, is not for sale.
