The Ministry of Culture and Sport announced the winners of the Ministry of Culture and Sport’s prizes in the plastic arts for the year 2017. This year, the Ministry awards prizes grants the winning artists a total of NIS 950,000.

The committee published the following decision:
“Yossi Mark’s figurative paintings express emotional complexity through human expressions painted with considerable technical skill and the audience’s encounter with the impressive painting technique, as well as the penetrating and direct gaze towards the painted characters, moved the panel of judges”.
